And it is 'He' you bow to.

Silent screams and pleading
Amidst tolling bells of preaching
And sightless beacons claiming
Beholding a path for all those wary
Of crushed souls and crumbled hopes
Of parched throats and hungry woes
To those who kneeled, begged and cried
Were assured persistence of all wrath and denial
Those preachers attest opening of doors
I demand they glance beneath their robes
Those hypocrites exhorting peace and love
Blinding us mortals for their greedy lust
Burn them at the stake before
They make our humanity their unworthy whore
I stumble, I fall, I stand again
Owing no particular gratitude to His hidden self
And while those who stoop and plead
I stand and mend all that made me bleed
I gasp, I pant, I puff and wheeze
But then these arms build what the eye sees
And while you may resume banging 'His' door
May I suggest you save your breath and time
For 'His' deep slumber you shall not breach
Your skeptical eyes will look me down
But then I'm not the man who stood on that rock
'His' saviour, 'His' follower, or the one 'He' mocked
And now I'll proceed to focus on all that comprises 'me'
While those unconvinced, I beg to bow and plead.

luk man....i respect what you believe....but try and empathise wid me.....here's my side...

u talk abt believin and lookin towards urself for strength.....whereas...i do my best..and then believe in HIM 2 deliver the result i desire...simply put..if ever the belief i have in myself FAILS,, for any reason whatsoever...i still hav my belief in him as my insurance...somtething lik a permanent tattoo(if u knw wat i mean) dat is wid u.....alwayz!!!

PS- u mite not believe in miracles...but you can make GOOD coincidences happen more frequently!!!!!

i rest my case...luv n peace bro

"No...no way" is the thought thats constantly going through my head when I (as a critic) think if Ajit could have put it in a better way. Mister , I don't mean to preach - but you're flirting with perfection here !! (..and its just not right lol)

this post will be appreciated by everyone for its literary excellence but it would only cater to a few as far as belief is concerned ..

However , I absolutely loved it !... though I have to confess to being a little biased since I'm somewhat agnostic myself.. I'll make sure that you are not a victim of a Witch-Hunt for propagating a 'blasphemous denial of God' by the society haha

GREAT STUFF :)

this was an awesome piece of literature....indeed... i really appreciate the way u write...and the thought process is amazing...
Im kinda neutral about the issue u raised in your poem. But i personally think that your ideas are 2 firmly and ruthlessly denying the presence or rather belief in God. Just the belief in Him drives ppl around the world and gives them hope in adverse circumstances...Like everything else...i think it has a good and a bad side 2 it...many ppl overdo it...nd for dem its agreeable 2 say that its all superficial...bt u cant generalise it cz da belief itself is not wrong if it can make people better persons...and do dem good.. but well..dats how i think..
but awesome work dude....u will go a long way...

well once again i attempt to post a comment for this piece of art... hope it reaches u.. first of all, absolutely amazing literature.. the thought process gone into this thing is a more debatable matter though.. i believe in God.. so this poem definatetly does not cater to me. still i respect what u believe if u have enough reason to believe in it.
